Trinity had to make a car for her Science course and Kyler used his new magnet set to build some geometric shapes.
Trinity, Kyler, and I built a working model of a combustion engine. As we were assembling it, I told them about the function of the parts. The engine is battery powered with light bulbs simulating spark plugs. We even had to adjust the timing! A very fun project but I don't recommend the Smithsonian models as they pieces are very fragile. They both had a chance to identify the parts and screw them in.
